Hidden in
the tranquil Shongweni valley, with river frontage and cliff face amongst the dense indigenous forest, this rustic venue is
surrounded by breathtaking views and exudes old African romance.
The wedding
reception is generally held outside under the Marula tree and deck overlooking the river (weather permitting) or alternatively
in a wood and thatch building with a covered veranda area. The marriage ceremony can be held at the venue under a shaded
thatched area by the white stinkwood tree.
The minimum
amount of guests is 40 with a maximum of 120. We have different choices of menu each with a starter, main meal and
dessert. The food is plated.
A full bar
is available and the price of a local beer is R9.00.
We have ample
parking available, and are conveniently situated between Durban and Pietermaritzburg.
